Last week, the Team Dynamic Counter Strike 1.6 division completed their run in the CEVO-P Placement Tournament with a close 16-14 loss against devious. Though a tough loss, it still landed them in CEVO-Main, an environment that is still fiercely competitive and a big accomplishment for anyone. The season is now starting with the first preseason match held tonight, and the first match of the regular season scheduled for next Monday, July 6 on de_train.

On the opposite end though, Season 3 of ESEA is coming to a close as Team Dynamic still leads the East Conference with an impressive record of 13-1. The first match of last week saw Team Dynamic up against MIGHT. The map of the week was de_train, a very Counter-Terrorist sided map, and Team Dynamic played exceptionally well in the first half winning 9 rounds on the harder Terrorist side. After switching sides, it was only a matter of time before they picked up the remaining 7 rounds, winning the match by a comfortable margin of 16-10. It apparently was not comfortable enough for them though, as they went on to face PERCEIVE a few days later. After finishing the first half without giving up a single round, they lost the pistol and eco rounds on Terrorist side. Things went back to business as usual though, and they finished the match up 16-3 in their favor. This week, the team finishes out the regular season of ESEA against two strong teams in Unsung and ts9 on de_dust2. These two matches should be cast over HLTV, so be sure to tune in and watch the guys fight to keep their high playoff seed.

After a win against Stormakt and a loss against Vitriolic, Team Dynamic.CS:S continued their CEVO-P playoff run earlier tonight against Eximius Sports.  While the first half of the third map was played last week, Internet issues for Eximius Sports caused a delay of the second half until earlier tonight.  Leading 10-5 at the half, Dynamic was able to take the remainder of the rounds and the match 16-12.  They now move on to play Stormakt later on tonight, as Eximius Sports takes an early leave from playoffs. In the first round of playoffs, it was Stormakt who we defeated to advance to the second round, so the guys are prepared to repeat their success later tonight.

In ESEA, Team Dynamic went even this week in terms of wins and losses on de_contra. After finishing a strong match of 16-5 against Eximius Sports, we ended up losing by the same margin against KEYBOARD SMASHERS a day later. This week wraps up the regular season in ESEA with two matches against Eximius Sports and x3o on de_cpl_mill. With only the top four teams making playoffs, these two matches are crucial. We currently sit at the number 5 spot, tied in terms of wins and losses with the number 4 ranked KEYBOARD SMASHERS. That being said, this week’s matches should be exciting ones to watch as Team Dynamic has to give it all they got in order to make playoffs in ESEA and stay in playoffs in CEVO.

Compared to the weeks before, last week was not a very busy one at all for the Team Dynamic Counter Strike: Source team. Even though we were scheduled to play four matches as usual, only two were played in total. Starting off the week, the former Vitriolic team forfeited to us in ESEA. And by the end of the week, three starters were out of town, so we were unable to play our second CEVO match, resulting in a forfeit loss against KEYBOARD SMASHERS.

In our second ESEA match, we faced off against Mike Gaming whom we were only able to take two rounds from in the last time we met. This time went a little better, but still not nearly enough to take the win as they took the match 16-4 on de_train. The other match we played was against Equipoise in CEVO, as that went a lot smoother. On de_inferno, we were able to take a sizeable lead and end up finishing the match 16-10 in our favor.

Things should get back to normal this week as we face off against Absolution and KEYBOARD SMASHERS on de_contra in ESEA. The big news this week though is that playoff time has arrived in CEVO-P, and our first round playoff match is scheduled for Monday June 22 against the former Vitriolic team. It is a best of three format, and the winner goes on to play against the new Vitriolic roster the following day. All matches should be broadcast over SourceTV and possibly in shoutcasts as well, so be sure to tune in.
