CEVO making another amazing call due to the always Intelligent Celone. Every season we run into some problem with CEVO. Just last season CEVO didn’t even want to pay out to two of our members. But anyways let me break down the situation that happened during map 1 of the upper bracket bo3 in cevo-p.

We first started getting major lag in the server when the match was 5-3 (I guess the server was getting DDoS’ed or however you wanna say it). We lagged going across the cat walk, not even being able to make it across properly and soon dying to them being able to shoot us. Sometimes the lag doesn’t even effect everyone as in one of our other matches that got lagged in ESEA, one guy on the other team could move around and shoot us as we couldn’t even make it around corners, constantly getting teleported backwards. So lets take a note that I said we lagged on CAT when it was 5-3 and lost the round (Celone’s final call is to start the match from 6-3). So the next round I try to pause in freezetime, I hit the pause button and nothing happened for a good 10-15 seconds. So sometimes the pause button doesn’t work and you need to type it in console as ‘pause’, so I did this thinking that was the issue. And 15 seconds later my pause worked all of a sudden and then my second pause unpaused it. So the round was started and you can’t pause in the middle of a round. So we continued to play it out and it was extremely lagging and we ended up winning the round. We didn’t care about replaying the round as it was almost impossible to move. So after that round we have it paused and we are both talking to admins. I found out FT was talking to Celone (now again the head of CSS) and we were talking to Spangler (and just earlier in the season he was head of CSS). We told them we would continue to play out the match from 6-3 and we would execute the OT config, which was instructed by Spangler. FT agreed and they were talking to Celone and nothing was instructed differently. So the rest of T side was played out lag free. We start CT pistol and the round started lagging when it was a 3v1 situation in our favor, we won it. We then restarted the round after being instructed from the admins to do so. So then we relived the pistol round and the entire CT side was played lag free.

We played the next map Tuscan and finished that entirely lag free. So lets recap, Josh was talking to Celone and PEX was talking to Spangler after the lag happened (6-4 d2). But for some reason we played out the entire match even though Celone was there and didn't instruct differently and was confirmed to continue from Spangler 6-4. There was even a 30 minute gap before we continue from the first lag. And they agreed to start 6-4 with Celone present. And now Celone a couple days after the match was done being played is dismissing the entire match and forcing it to be started at 6-3 for FT. First of all, the lag started on 5-3 for us and we lost that round. Second of all after the 10th round was lagged, we continued out the T side lag free and it didn’t even matter who won the 10th round because the rest of the half was finished on another server after the OT config was executed. And with the OT config you start with 7.5k so the money system would have been the same regardless of the outcome. And we even restarted the CT pistol after winning it and we played 29 lag free rounds that were unaffected by the 1 lag round. But Celone is forcing us to start from 6-3 in favor of FT.

So I offered to replay that one lag round that we won. Since it had no effect on the remaining score after the OT config was executed to continue.

Celone: “adren, you will play out the match the way I resolved the dispute. End of story.”

So FT agreed to play out from that point. Celone was present with them talking and didn’t instruct differently. Spangler talking to us straight up told us, that the round we played was legit and will continue out from there. And Celone had this is say about us talking to Spangler.

Celone: "let me start out by saying that Steam Chat is not a valid forum for CEVO support. Because you choose that forum, you incorrectly got support from Mr. Spangler”

So everything his admin told us he threw out the window. Steam chat is the same as getting the support through vent which we always do and Spangler never told us ONCE to get into vent to talk about the situation as neither did Celone who was PRESENT and didn’t do shit.

I don't care what the situation is, if the other team agrees to play from a certain point and the previous head of CSS and still admin says to continue along with the current head of CSS being live with the other team there is no way you should be able to scratch the rest of a match that was played out after being instructed and agreed upon.

So we replay FT starting from 6-3. GLHF.
