Team Dynamic.SC2 off to MLG Providence

MLG Providence is underway in less than twenty-four hours with some of the best of the best there to take this season’s championships! Among the best we have Huk, PuMa and idrA of Evil Geniuses, NaNiwa from Complexity Gaming, MMA and the great BoxeR from SlayerS (who have just partnered with EG), Ret, HayprO from Team Liquid, Slush and KiWiKaKi from Team Reign. Amongst these teams, we have QxG representing their new partnership with IM. MVP, with Complexity Gaming. It’s Gosu will be entering the ring as well!
Why are so many players travelling from Europe, South Korea and all across North America to this specific MLG? Besides being the last MLG event for the year, it is also the championship which means a larger prize-pool, a much larger one: $120,000 to be exact. The format has also changed, leveled to accommodate so many people while also favoring those who have consistently shown up throughout the season. 16 seeds are awarded to those who have consistently appeared and placed well in the previous MLG events. The better the seed, the better you are placed in the Winner’s Brackets. For the 256 other players? A fight to the death in pool play where the top 4 finishers will be seeded into Round 1 among the top 16 mentioned above. Losers in the Winner’s bracket drop into the pool play and if you lose there, you will have one more chance in the Loser’s Bracket.
Where does that put Team Dynamic? Deep into pool play, but fully prepared to take on the crowd! Fully packed and ready to go are Team Dynamic’s Attero and The Doctor (under the name Rohit91)! Attero, as mentioned in our previous article(s), has already had a formidable run at MLG Anaheim reaching the championship, defeating major players such as Complexity’s Stalife and RSVP, GosuGamers’ LastShadow, Team Liquid’s Jinro and Quantic Gaming’s InkA! Ranked at 49 on the MLG’s Player Rankings (see below) and being invited to MLG Providence, Attero is going to take it all, he has recently been streaming and defeating some of the top of the top of North American players like Zenex’s Yong!
In addition, The Doctor is attending! Having reached the league of Grand Master and having reached the semi-finals of the Ttesports Challenge, losing to It’s Gosu’s DDE. The Doctor is sitting at 57 on MLG’s Player Rankings. At MLG Raleigh, he reached the loser’s brackets finals and he is now ready to achieve a whole new level of play at MLG Providence! Considered Team Dynamic’s rising star, The Doctor is ready to truly show how much he’s improved and showcase what this team already knows!
